A Vision for Growth: Expanding Hope Meadows

At Hope Meadows Foundation, we have witnessed firsthand the profound healing that happens when individuals connect with horses in a safe, supportive environment.

As the mental health needs across our community continue to grow, so does our responsibility to respond—with intention, compassion, and innovation.

After years of dreaming, planning, and listening, we are proud to launch our Expansion Campaign…an investment in the future of healing at Hope Meadows.

Why We Exist

Not all healing happens through words.

For many individuals facing trauma, anxiety, grief, or recovery, traditional talk therapy isn’t enough. Emotions can feel stuck. Trust can feel out of reach. What’s often needed is an approach that is experiential, relational, and felt—not just spoken.

At the same time, access to care remains a challenge. Long waitlists, provider shortages, and systemic barriers prevent too many people from getting the help they need—when they need it most.

We exist to remove those barriers and offer a different path to healing.

At Hope Meadows, everything we do is grounded in three core commitments:

1. Creating Safe Spaces for Healing

We provide environments where individuals feel seen, supported, and safe enough to do the work of healing—spaces designed intentionally for connection, regulation, and growth.

2. Caring for Our Horses & Creating Meaningful Interactions

Our horses are at the heart of this work. Their care, wellbeing, and partnership make transformational experiences possible. Every interaction is intentional, guided, and deeply impactful.

3. Meeting a Growing Mental Health Crisis

We are responding to a real and urgent need—expanding access to innovative care for youth, veterans, first responders, families, and individuals in recovery.

Our Vision: A Campus Built for Healing

This expansion is thoughtfully designed to support both clinical excellence and meaningful human connection—and to ensure that no one seeking healing is turned away.

Phase I – $450,000

Land Expansion & Infrastructure

  • Purchase of an additional 20 acres

  • Refacing and improving existing barn facilities

Phase II – $3.5 Million

Core Facility Development

  • 3,500 sq. ft. Welcome & Wellness Center

  • Individual and group therapy rooms

  • Dedicated sensory-based therapy space

  • Indoor arena and expanded equestrian facility for year-round care

Phase III – $1.5 Million

Outdoor Therapeutic Environment

  • Landscape design and campus integration

  • Outdoor arena

  • Nature trails and sensory-based healing spaces

Phase IV – $1 Million

Program Expansion & Access to Care

  • Increased program capacity

  • Expanded services for priority populations

  • Scholarships to ensure accessibility for those in need

The Impact

This expansion will allow Hope Meadows to quadruple our capacity, reaching hundreds more individuals each year with life-changing care.

It means:

  • A teenager finding hope after trauma

  • A veteran rediscovering connection and purpose

  • A parent learning how to heal alongside their child

  • A person in recovery rebuilding their life with dignity and support
