Providing non-Traditional Behavioral Health Options

While our offerings may not be suitable for all mental health needs, at Hope Meadows, we introduce our clients to a distinctive alternative to traditional counseling or an adjunct to traditional therapy. Through engaging with horses under the expert guidance of our specialized treatment team, clients undergoing equine-assisted psychotherapy gain valuable insights into their tendencies toward self-defeating and negative thoughts and behaviors. These revelations serve as excellent foundations for discussion and processing, both during and after the equine therapy sessions.

As a specialized treatment team consisting of a Mental Health Specialist, Equine Specialist, and Horse(s), we collaboratively create a nurturing environment for individuals receiving treatment for various challenges, including behavior disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, addiction, trauma, PTSD, and depression, among others.
